Jim Burke EE
CSK Communications, Inc.

A life-long resident of Spokane, WA., as well as 4-year Navy Veteran, he
received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Gonzaga University in 1982.
Since then, he has worked on a variety of projects dedicated to optimizing
telecommunications technologies. His first large communications project
was to provide telecommunications engineering support for the SCADA
center of Avista Utilities, a Fortune 500 company. This consisted of
collecting, transporting and managing the data used to control the power
grid in the Northwest United States. He then was charged with the design
and implementation of the multi-platform network throughout 41 sites in
the Western United States for the utility. He founded, with Dan Stutzke and
Warren Miller, Avista Fiber, one of the largest fiber optic MAN companies
in the West being the Lead Design Engineer for this company. His current company, CSK Communications, Inc, now provides the same expertise for other northwest communities that he provided at Avista Fiber for Spokane area schools, the City of Spokane, and Spokane area hospitals. CSK Communications, Inc. also designs and builds alternative telecommunications systems for private industry and private citizens. They also develop specifications, provide project management oversight, and customization of standards for those customers that are beginning the process of alternate telecommunications system implementation.

Dan Stutzke RCDD
CSK Communications, Inc.

A life-long resident of Spokane Washington, he attended SFCC and is a 4-year Navy veteran trained in the field of Electronics and Electrical Theory. After the service, his training was “hands on” in the fields of high voltage electrical systems, electrical control systems and telecommunications systems. In 1989 he became involved with IBM Mainframe infrastructure implementation. As time and technology moved from centralized computing to distributive computing, he was commissioned to help develop and design infrastructure for networks that would be flexible and have the ability to change with the changing needs of any and all business processes. He was at the forefront of the EIA/TIA implementation at Avista Utilities. Standards compliance drove him to integrate these emerging computing technologies within one infrastructure system. He founded, with Jim Burke and Warren Miller, Avista Fiber being the Lead Project Manager for this company. He is currently in the process of building CSK Communications, Inc., a Telecommunications Engineering/Consulting company from the ground up to provide the same levels of service that he dedicated to Avista Fiber for the communities of the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
