Projects that we have designed and built

1996 – Fraternity and Sorority houses at WSU.

This system was built in response to a request from Paul Allen of Microsoft fame to provide fiber optic connectivity for his alma mater frat house PKT. GTE gave him a bid for services to connect PKT to WSU for $300,000.00. We gave him a bid to connect up all 38 houses for the same price. This system has been on line without doing any maintenance on the original plant since then providing 100Mbit Ethernet services to WSU. We have since added 4 more houses to the system without any interruption of service.

1997 – Medical Lake School District

We provided dark fiber connectivity to the 5 Medical Lake Schools in Medical Lake, Wa. This system traverses the city of Medical Lake and has the capacity to connect the complete business district installed at a cost that lease fees from the school district paid for it all.

1997 - Spokane Wa. Metropolitan Area Network
Began construction of the MAN in Spokane Wa. That would eventually have over 80 miles of backbone 144 strand cable and 206 miles of distribution cable with over 200 access points into the backbone. This is a dynamic spider web design that has provided us the ability to install over 300 customers throughout the city while only using 12% of the strand capacity. We are continually adding customers and backbone as we move the fiber closer and closer to the home. This system provides private connectivity to 54, Dist. 81 schools, 8 hospitals, 3 separate credit union businesses and one of the largest public switched Ethernet systems in the world. This Ethernet system connects the schools, colleges, credit unions and other private businesses to each other and the internet. The City of Spokane has the best private gigabit Ethernet system within this MAN as well.

1999 - Post Falls and Coeur D’Alene Metropolitan Area Network

Extended the Spokane MAN to include all of the I-90 Corridor to Coeur D’Alene Id. It too is a dynamic system that is constantly being added to – backbone as well as customers. There are currently over 40 customers in this system. The School Dist 281 of CDA, Kootenai Medical Center, Hagadone Hospitality are a few of the many customers in this area. Riverbend Commerce Park of Post Falls has used this system as a means of attracting businesses into their park that gives them the upper hand in all negotiations for tenants with any of the other office parks.

1998 - Billings, Montana Metropolitan Area Network

1999 - Lewiston, Idaho/Clarkston, Wa. Metropolitan Area Network

1999 - Yakima, Wa. Metropolitan Area Network

1999 - Bellingham, Wa. Metropolitan Area Network

2003 – University if Idaho Research Park, Post Falls, ID.

Installed 1 mile of underground fiber optic cable to connect the U of I Research Park HQ with Spokane/CDA/Post Falls metropolitan area network.
